Conditions Of Hire

It is understood and agreed by the hirer that all items hires are subject to the following conditions:

1) The hire charge shall be that shown on the invoice which is subject to change due to seasonal peaks, special offers and sales. The hirer will be made aware of the hiring rate at the time of enquiry and before taking delivery.

2) Any carriage charges each way shall be paid by the hirer. The hire charge can vary if additonal products are taken to complete an outfit.

3) All items remain the property of Magic Mirror.

4) All items shall be the responsibility of the hirer during the period of hire and until returned to Magic Mirror

5) All items shall be returned in the condition in which they were hired. Any loss, damage, or other fault caused whilst on hire shall be paid for by the hirer at the rate determined by Magic Mirror after assessment of the issue.

6) Failure to return any item hired will result in the credit/debit card being debited by the amount that the item retails at. If the credit/debit fails, Magic Mirror will take legal action to recover the costs and interest will be applied to the cost of the item at 2% per week to cover loss of earnings.

7) Should loss occur during the hire period, it is the hirers responsibility to notify Magic Mirror. Failure to give notification will result in additional charges being applied at the hire rate for that item in addition to the replacement charges.

8) Unless otherwise agreed, a deposit shall be paid for each and every hiring. The deposit with be deducted from the hire charge at the time of collection and the deposit shall be determined at the time of ordering. All deposits used to secure an item are non-refundable and will act as a cancellation fee if the costume is cancelled or hirer fails to collect the item during opening hours.

9) All items are available for inspection before taking delivery on hire, and no liability for unsuitability, consequential loss or damage, injury, illness or claim shall rest with Magic Mirror

Conditions of Sales

Magic Mirror complies to the 'Distance Selling Regulations' as set out by the Office Of Fair Trading. We are committed to providing you with clear contact and product information, payment and delivery arrangements. This information can be printed or stored by you.

Magic Mirror will provide the goods you have ordered, at the costs stated and in the time specified but subject always to availability, credit status, supplier limitations, prevailing political climate and acts of god. Orders are taken subject to availability of products and if for any reason we do not supply any product, we will refund any money already paid for these products. However, we will not be liable for any other losses or expenses that you may incur if we do not supply them.

We reserve the right to refuse, modify, amend, change an order and change a price.

We will inform you immediately of any change and give you the right to cancel or amend your order with no penalty whatsoever.

Magic Mirror will contact you via the e-mail address you provide to confirm your order and estimated delivery time.

Please give us as much detail about your order as possible.

Pre-contract, we have given clear information about our goods including description, size and price including taxes and made all reasonable endeavours to ensure that all information is accurate. Images, illustrations and descriptions are for general information and guidance purposes only as some colours, style and fabrics may vary due to the nature of constructing the items and the limitations of our suppliers and stock. All measurements taken on costumes are approximate but the onus is on the customer to refer to the sizing chart before placing an order. All prices are displayed in pounds Sterling.

Your credit/debit card will be debited at time of ordering; powered and regulated by Paypal or Barclaycard depending on the chosen payment method. You have the option of paying by cheque but items will not be despatched until clearance of funds and you can pay by credit or debit card by telephoning 01782 328989. Should upon acceptance of your order, it is later found that there is a problem with your credit/debit card, we have the right to cancel the order without explanation and refuse further orders. Orders will not be despatched without full and final settlement of the balance.

If you fail to take delivery of the ordered goods and they are returned to us, we will contact you in confirmation. We will not refund the cost of goods shipping.

Any typographical, clerical or other error or omission in any literature, website based information, quotation, price list, acceptance of offer, invoice or other document or information issued by us shall be subject to correction without any liability on our part
